Bambelo consists of several comparison platforms. These platforms target consumers who are looking for certain service. The consumer can make a request for a service and then receives about six quotations from companies that offer this service and have signed up with us for lead generation. From these, the consumer can choose the party that best suits their needs. Our platforms establish the link between the consumer and affiliated companies, thus bringing supply and demand closer together. The diversity of providers of services and products is great; from a suitable real estate agent to the very best painter. We focus on what we excel in: lead generation and relationship management of direct customers.
As a Senior Back-end Developer you will be working within a multidisciplinary Agile team. Together you will work on the further development of our international platforms; a microservices architecture setup that we continuously improve and build upon.
From adding features to our websites, connecting/developing APIs to working out A/B test functionality across all systems.
In other words, no customer contact (if this is not your thing). This allows you to focus on the (further) development of innovative products such as comparison platforms, financial systems and a powerful lead generation tool.
As a Senior you have seen and experienced a lot of developments. Because of this, you have developed a strong vision on software development and you are eager to share this with the team. Our Tech stack is broad; from PHP/Golang, MySQL and Elasticsearch to Kubernetes, Google Cloud and BigQuery. That makes it nice and varied!

You have at least 4 to 5 years of working experience in a back-end role;
The necessary knowledge of PHP is not lacking in you;
You have experience with data storages, version control, testing & releasing;
You know how to translate business requirements/ideas into a technical solution and you enjoy working Agile;
You have a strong vision on technical innovation and professionalization;
You are a strong communicator in both English and Dutch.
